I found two stray dogs I would like rescued and rehomed.
Please contact me at 832-8573349.
I have had them for the last two days, but I cannot keep them. I already have two adopted pets.
My neighbors and I have looked for possible owners and found none.
No collars or chips were found on the dogs.
Definitely abandoned.
Thank you

***Stray/Loose dog***
Our neighbor and ourselves were able to coax this sweet boy into our backyard last night (he would probably prefer our house)
This morning I was able to spend sometime with him…I got the harness off, but there's no information on the inside.  His nails are trimmed or just worn down from walking and his gums, teeth and ears look healthy.  He is a little skinny, but is happily eating now that I'm outside with him.  He is biting himself and scratching, so most likely fleas, plus the mosquitos are buzzing around after that short shower. No evidence of ticks.
He knows "sit" and will patiently wait for a kibble reward, and has made no attempts to get out of the yard.
I looked up the brand of harness: it’s a Bumbin Tactical Harness for medium dogs, and cost around $25 on Amazon.
He is or was someone’s pet.   He’s been seen in our subdivision over the last two weeks and made his way to my house yesterday evening.  There have been multiple post about home and I’ve posted on NextDoor, FB as well. He’s also on Paw Boost (not my post)

We have indoor cats so I’m hesitant to let him in the house.  He is definitely a “herding breed” looks like a shepherd mix.  I think he’s probably fairly young and he is intact.  I would say he is medium in size, and around 30-40 pounds.
He was checked for a microchip with negative results.

Thank you,
Marla Ruzicka

I can post on our Lost & Found Blog for now, but the person who can provide the information you need would be our intake coordinator.  Please reach out to her at dogs@aartexas.org with all of the information you have on this dog.  I hope this helps.  Joan

Good afternoon,

My husband and I live at Leisure Lane RV resort/park in Pinehurst TX off of 1774.

We have what appears to be a dog that has been dumped in our neighborhood running around the campground.  He looks like a white Shepherd mix.  He has been around for about two weeks and several of us are trying to keep him fed and making sure he has water, but we have two Dobermans already.  I thought maybe somebody had taken him in because I hadn't seen him for a few days, but today we got an email that the management was calling animal control and it breaks my heart to think about it, because he might not have any chance there and he's beautiful and sweet, and needs a safe place to land.

If we'd be in a house I think several people around here would take him in, but as I said, my husband and I have the two Dobermans and that probably would not go well at all.  They don't like other dogs.

Can you help?  Apparently, animal control isn't in on Mondays so I'm assuming they'll try to get them to come out Tuesday, the management is looking at him as a nuisance and wants to get rid of him.

Thank you so much for your time!!
Lynn
