Hi there,

This sweet girl followed us home this morning and are looking to have some help in getting her foster or adopted (we think she was abandoned). I have a potential foster but am hoping she can be sponsored to assist in the costs. We found her this morning in the northlake forest subdivision and she is a medium sized dog, very gentle and sweet, has had no accidents in our home, and loves pets. We unfortunately cannot keep her as my husband travels for work weeks at a time and I cannot handle 2 dogs (we already have 1) on my own.

Please let me know if you can help us of know of anyone that can. Thank you very much!

Hello. My name is Alexandra Smith. My mother and I found a dog on Tuesday February 9th 2021 and we've had no luck finding her home. According to our veterinarian, she is an intact female, approximately one year old and seems to be a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull. She is a medium sized dog and weighed approximately 40 pounds when we found her. She is black with a faint white line low on her chest and a long tail. We found her running down FM 2920 in Tomball near Concordia Lutheran High School. She was so skinny her ribs, spine and hip bones were clearly visible, she was extremely hungry and thirsty, covered in fleas, and had a couple of small wounds. She was seen and treated by our veterinarian immediately after we found her. Since she had no tags, she was scanned for a microchip. There was no microchip. We've tried finding her home but have had no luck so far. We are contacting shelters in the area we found her to see if a dog matching her description has been reported. I've attached a picture of her bellow. She is a sweet dog and we are happy to provide her with a safe place to stay until her home is found. Thank you so much for your time and help.
