Evening,

I am reaching out to your rescue because we have a found Rottie mix that we are needing to be rehomed.

A bit of background on the dog. My father found him by an underpass with no homes nearby, sitting and whining, seemed he was waiting on someone to come get him. He went into my father's vehicle without hesitation, and was friendly the entire ride home (approx 40 mins).
He was "cleaner than clean" when found according to my father, his teeth are bright and clean, he has a sweet disposition towards people (as far as we have seen within family), seems to be under 2 years of age, and he fixates on smaller animals. He is NOT chipped (we went to a vet to check), and he is not fixed.

Currently he is living in a kennel just barely big enough for him (an older one we had) outside. We have other smaller dogs (a few are elderly), along with outdoor barn cats and small flock of chickens. Our family does not feel it would be the best life for him here, also only certain members of the family can care for him due to their health. We have always been welcoming of pets, but again due to the situation, we want to see him go to a good home, hence reaching out to you today for assistance. We would like him to be rehomed ASAP, as the main caretaker for him works full time.

Thank you for your time, and looking forward to hearing from you soon.

We are located outside the Houston metro area to the NE.

Much regards,

Cesar

Hi, there is a friendly, grey and white pit bull with a pink collar stray. She appears to have had puppies recently, she must be a family dog and loved - she follows all commands, is very friendly, calm and not afraid of people. We have been leaving food and water out for her. She must be missing her family as much as they miss her. She needs to be home with a family. She is not chipped. We have been trying unsuccessfully for a week to find an organization to take her. One group told me to stop leaving food and water out and she will leave-but she will still be on the streets and a stray. I posted her profile and picture on PawBoost with no results. We are desperate to help her get off the streets.

Very sweet girl. She knows how to sit on command but she hasn't learned not to jump on people. She's pretty big and has really large paws. She still acts like a puppy.

I've had a response on our neighborhood app that says he'll take her if her family isn't found. But he hasn't responded to my messages the last 2 days.

Fwd: Abandoned dog

Hello,

This sweet girl was dumped in our court yesterday after school. A man pulled up, took her out of the car and drove off. She appears to be a lab mix. My neighbor estimates her to be 7-8 months old.  She is about 30 lbs I would guess. She is loving my two little boys and seems very comfortable with kids. She is staying with us right now, but I am desperately trying to find her a foster by the end of the weekend. She appears to be crate trained because she slept in my dogs old crate without making a peep last night. She is completely potty trained. She is very loving to all of the members of my family. She follows my dog around and isn't discouraged dispute his grumpy attitude toward her. With a little training she would make an amazing family pet.

She was dumped at about 3:45 on September 24. I live on Stormwood Pl in The Woodlands, zip code 77381. My contact number is 847-274-0710.

If you can help I would so appreciate it.

Thank you,

Kristen Vollmer

Hello there,

I found a dog around the intersection of Kuykendahl and FM 1960 last night at 9:00 pm. She is tan and white medium sized dog looking to be about 2 years old or so. She is very nervous and distrusting of people but is good with other dogs. She was wearing a pink Hawaiian floral print collar when I found her. She had a couple wounds and fleas but otherwise is seemingly healthy. I currently have her in my custody but may have to surrender her to a shelter if I can't find her family quickly. Please contact if any help can be provided returning her home. My number is 8327234497.

Many thanks,
Daniel Lenihan

Hi,

Hope this email finds you well.
My family and I were shopping for furniture at Star Furniture (6868 Southwest Fwy, Houston, TX 77074), and we saw a cat that was hanging out in a pit by the entrance.
We were worried it was stuck and couldn't get out, but one of the employees mentioned they had gotten the cat out of the pit before, but it had come right back. They think the cat had been dumped in their parking lot.

This store is very close to the freeway, and we are worried that the store will call animal control.
We don't have any experience taking care of cats, and were not sure what we should do, so we wanted to bring this to your organization's attention. Is there anything your organization can do to help this cat??

Thank you!

Good afternoon,

I found a pair of really sweet lost dogs. I'm looking for a rescue that will help them. I can't keep them in my garage or house since I have indoor cats and birds. I've seen the pair around for a week, and I really want to help them. I don't want them to get run over by a car or hurt. I will happily donate some money to help their cause.
Currently they wandered off, but I'm sure I will see the dogs around again. I let my neighborhood know they are lost and a few have also left out food and water for them.
Please let me know if ya'll can help or help me find a rescue that can. I live in Cypress, TX.

Thanks,

Samantha A.

Hi,

My name is Lisa and we have lost our cat named Puma. He has been missing since 5/11/2020 last seen outside our home, our address is 6302 Fawnwood Dr, Spring, TX 77389. We are contacting your facility to see if he has been brought in by some chance. I can attach a picture. He would be a Bombay cat, he is black but sometimes he fur changes colors and he looks brown  his whiskers are all black except one or two on the right side of his face next to his mouth. He is approximately 3 years old. He has a bald spot on the bottom of his tummy  on his fat pocket. It looks like the shape of a heart. He also has one missing claw on one of his front paws. He is very timid and shy. I hope this helps with some kind of identification. Thank you in advance for your time and have a wonderful day.

Thankfully,

Lisa Solano

My Son  found a Puppy late Sunday night on Old Hockley Rd. He appears to have a right front foot injury.  He took him to Shady Brook Clinic Monday morning...
They wanted to charge him $300 for one xray & exam.
Unfortunately I can't  afford  that.  My son did take him back to Shady Brook to have  him scanned  for a chip, but no luck.
This puppy  needs to have its  leg looked at.
I need  help finding a shelter that can  help this  puppy.

Hello! I wanted to notify you of a dog that was found in case the owners are checking shelters for her.
  • Tan and cream female, appears to possibly be a Carolina Dog? (pic attached)
  • Was checked for a chip - no chip.
  • Found Sunday morning March 1 at intersection of E Creekside Bend Dr & Hidden Pass Dr in Bridgeland community (Cypress). This is right near a dog park.

I do not have the dog but I offered to help the person who found her contact local shelters and vets. It sounds like she is currently safe. Let me know if anyone is looking for her!

Thank you!
