Dear AAR,

There has been a pack of three young dogs wandering our neighborhood for about a week. (Often lying in the middle of road) We are located in Magnolia Ranch Estates off of Butera/ Nichols Sawmill Rd in Magnolia.

My husband and kids couldn't take it anymore and brought these babies home with them this afternoon. I am not sure if they are lost or if someone dumped them. (The latter is my suspicion.)

Two of them are white and cream. (Males) The other one is a black and white female. (She is pretty thin)

We have fed them and provided them water. They are currently in our backyard, so we are having to take our dogs out on a leash to potty in the front yard. We CAN NOT KEEP them. I wish we could!

Any ideas or assistance would be great as we already have a house full of animals. (And four kids) We simply can't take on more. I have posted to Facebook, our neighborhood FB page, and Nextdoor. They are not chipped. (A neighbor had them scanned. This neighbor had also been leaving food for them at the neighborhood pond.)
They are very sweet. Love to be loved on!

These sweet babies would make someone a wonderful family pet. I can't believe someone would just dump them.

We will consider fostering one if additional fosters can be found. The white and cream males seem to be very attached to each other.

Thank you!

Hi,

We've had an abandoned dog in the neighborhood for several weeks.  We've all posted pictures online looking for his owner.  Given the heat and then the storms rolling, followed by the fireworks, we took him in but we cannot keep him.  We're full... 3 dogs and a cat (all rescues)

He is not chipped. He appears to be healthy - no vomiting, no diarrhea, eats and drinks normally and weighs about 45lbs.  When he came to us he had a tie-out cable attached to his collor, that appeared to have been cut.  He does well with my 3 dogs but, not our cat.... wants to eat the cat (hence we cannot keep him).

He has growled - not agressively - more like conversation
Has rarely bark, even when my dogs go crazy barking at the door.
He has jumped up a few times, playfully excited, not agressively (except when he's after the cat).
He does not get on furniture.
He does not want to climb the stairs
Prefers the freedom beyond the front door over the back yard
Does not swim

I'm guessing he's full grown.  He's not fixed nor is he chipped.  I'm not a good judge of age but he's beyond puppyhood, maybe 5-6 years.  His teeth look good, he's calm, relaxed, sleeps but is excited to see you when you come home.  He has a few scars from who knows what but, all in all, he seems healthy.
Can you help?

Cindy

Found 4 labs wandering at 15655 Cypress Woods Medical Dr, Houston, TX 77014 at FM 1960 on July 2, 2019. They appear to have families just can't find them. They are not microchipped. My back yard does not have any shelter or covering; my landlord would be furious and they need to get home.  I am seeking someplace to shelter them until I can do exhaust all resources to get them home.
