Hello
My cat Simba has been missing. We lived in Hockley, TX. Simba is a neutered male, no microchip, age 13. He was shaved in July 2020. He is a long hair tabby/Maine coon mix. His vet was Companion Animal Hospital in Waller. I have attached two pictures. I have Simba posted on Nextdoor, various FB groups, tabby tracker, pawboost etc..

Background information We lived in Hockley, TX, and moved out of State to CT at the end of July. Simba was an indoor/outdoor cat. During the final day of packing, we could not locate Simba. When we arrived in CT and 48 hours of being in CT we had a fire that was caused by tropical storm Isaias and lost everything but the clothes on our backs. Due to this set back I was unable to return to TX until the end of August. I went back down to TX and no luck finding Simba. Where we lived in Hockley it is farmland and acres upon acres of woods. The land is so far and wide and not being able to access neighboring properties made everything more difficult to locate Simba. I have put flyers out, posted him lost on the Nextdoor app, Facebook, Lost my Kitty, Pawboost, and other such lost pages.

I have taken measures as far as contacting an animal communicator and hiring a dog tracking service. The dog tracker did find Simbas scent and many areas were not accessible due to being marked private property. Simba is out there I just need people looking out for him. The dog tracker said Simba doesn't think he's lost because he's still in his neighborhood his humans just are not there anymore. We lived in TX for 2 years and met most of the neighbors after we lost Simba. I have no family that can go consistently to be on the lookout or set live traps. My only hope at this point is my old neighbors (who I don't know well).

We had a sighting reported on Willow Creek Rd. /Old Creek Lane Hockley. (Waller County).

My children are heartbroken as is the whole family. We are missing a part of our family. We have had Simba for 11 of his 13 years. His vet is Companion Animal Hospital in Waller. I brought Simba for his summer haircut and vetting on July 1st in preparation for our move. However, Simba never showed up. Please help me.

I'm currently trying to find live animal trappers to go out to my neighborhood however money has been tight.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
