Evening,
I am reaching out to your rescue because we have a found Rottie mix that we are needing to be rehomed.
A bit of background on the dog. My father found him by an underpass with no homes nearby, sitting and whining, seemed he was waiting on someone to come get him. He went into my father's vehicle without hesitation, and was friendly the entire ride home (approx 40 mins).
He was "cleaner than clean" when found according to my father, his teeth are bright and clean, he has a sweet disposition towards people (as far as we have seen within family), seems to be under 2 years of age, and he fixates on smaller animals. He is NOT chipped (we went to a vet to check), and he is not fixed.
Currently he is living in a kennel just barely big enough for him (an older one we had) outside. We have other smaller dogs (a few are elderly), along with outdoor barn cats and small flock of chickens. Our family does not feel it would be the best life for him here, also only certain members of the family can care for him due to their health. We have always been welcoming of pets, but again due to the situation, we want to see him go to a good home, hence reaching out to you today for assistance. We would like him to be rehomed ASAP, as the main caretaker for him works full time.
Thank you for your time, and looking forward to hearing from you soon.
We are located outside the Houston metro area to the NE.
Much regards,
Cesar
