We lost our bully Hudson while being evacuated yesterday around noon from Vallie street off of 249 north.  The boat capsized in the rushing water and we were able to reach two of the dogs, but we weren't able to save Hudson.   Please keep an eye out and spread the word for him.  I'm not sure what all agencies I can contact in the area, but any assistance would be greatly appreciated! We're holding out hope that he is still alive, but due to the conditions we fear the worst.   No matter what we want to find him.  Thank you for any help you can give us. His picture is below

My sister and I found this abandoned dog on her street in NW Houston. She is a young dog about 28 lbs and very friendly.  She loves to be petted.   She is not spayed or microchipped.

We have posted on FB and lostmydoggie.com websites as well as Nextdoor (reaching 25+ neighborhoods) with no results.   We also contacted area veterinary clinics and groomers to see if anyone had called regarding a lost/found dog fitting her description.

Due to our already pet-filled homes, we are trying to locate a rescue group that will take her in for fostering and hopeful adoption.  See below for our FB post which appeared on both of our pages and was also posted to Lost and Found Pets in Cypress:

'I found this dog last week on Weatherhill Lane in Chimney Hill subdivision, but was not able to catch until today (Sat. 8/12). According to my vet, the dog IS NOT MICROCHIPPED, is young, weighs approximately 28 lbs, not spayed and appears to have been groomed fairly recently. She appears to be healthy although we did not have any testing done at the clinic. The dog is very sweet and rode well in the car to the vet. I believe it must have gotten loose and now can't find its way home. If you recognize this dog or it belongs to you, please send me a PM or FB my sister, Maggie Baker.
We have had no responses to our post on Facebook, etc at all. We no longer believe she is lost, but instead was dumped on her street. Her actions when we caught her were indicative of being dumped. She is very sweet and friendly and loves to be petted.
I have also attached a picture of her that we posted.  After having her for a few days, it is apparent that she has had no training (doesn't know basic sit/stay commands), but she will stop bad behavior if you tell her.
Please let us know if you could help us with this beautiful dog and find her a foster and/or forever loving home.
Feel free to call me at 713 - 202-2144 if you would like to talk about this dog.
Maggie Baker

Found Small Blonde, Male dog on August 07, 2017 on corner of Hwy 249 and Hardin School Rd.

He is very sweet and well manner. He came up to me while I was getting gas at the Exxon Mobile on the corner of Hwy 249 and Hardin School Rd. After picking him up and putting him in my car he laid down on a blanket and was completely calm while I took him to see if he had a microchip (no microchip). He knows how to sit and stay. He also didn’t attempt to jump out of my vehicle when I opened the door.

He has a collar but no information. His nails are clipped and is clean and well fed. My vet says he is completely healthy.

I found a dog in my front yard Sunday evening.  He has no tags or microchip.  I posted on NextDoor for our area, walked him around in the nearby neighborhoods and knocked on doors, put up "found dog" flyers, checked pawboost, emailed neighbors.  Nobody has claimed him.

He is fairly small, young and obviously well cared for. He is very likely an inside dog. I don't think he is fixed.

He has to leave here by tomorrow.  Please help!

Hi , my name is Andrew. This dog that belongs to a homeless person, attached its self to my home and family. It is small white, tan, and friendly. I have been given him food and water plus shelter. I has been calling him Hobo so my grandkids wouldn't be afraid when he comes up to them. He gets along with my service dog fine, but I can't afford to keep him. I don't want him hurt, so I am asking for help.

Hi,

My son rescued a black lab puppy from Meyer Park Sunday evening July 9th before the big storm came through. He doesn't have a collar, isn't chipped, and no one has claimed him on any site we have posted him on. Our vet thinks he is a lab mix with some Great Dane and Brindle. He is maybe about 5 months old and not neutered. We have already given him two flea medications. One to kill the fleas immediately and another to keep them off for a month.

He is very friendly and sweet. He doesn't run off, likes his crate, doesn't bark, and potty's outside when told. Please help us find him a home as we have a yorkie who isn't a fan and I have a son who may be allergic. My son was sneezing badly after he was here for a few days and then it stopped when he went to someone else's home. We are waiting to see if his allergies come back.

My oldest named him Chocco. He needs treatment asap since he is a puppy and may have never had any shots before.

We have posted signs and also posted on numerous online sites. Lots of people have shared his info trying to find the owners.

Please let me know if you can help us find a home for him or if he can go to your rescue.

Hello Abandonded Animal Rescue, we are missing our cat, Snowball. He is a white, medium sized cat last seen in Northpointe Park in the Villages of Northpointe, in his house. He might have gotten scared by the thunderstorm that occured Thursday afternoon/night (July 13th, 2017) and ran off. He is declawed in his front two paws. I found a cat that matches a post by krmartinez09@gmail.com. This orange striped cat travels with a smaller cat that appears to be its baby. The larger cat has visible nipples and this leads me to believe that it must be breastfeeding the small cat. Neither cat has a collar, but the momma cat is not afraid of people. This cat does not appear to be feral. They have been in the Kendall Manor Apartments around building 3, located at I-45 @ Inverness Forest Blvd. Thanks.

Hi, I found this sweet dog yesterday. Running in middle of street, I almost hit her as did several others. Posted on Nextdoor app. Looks like she's been in the area running loose for a while. It's becoming more and more prevalent that people are dumping their dogs in our neighborhood!  Brought her home but we can't keep her, we have 3 dogs! Teeth ground down, favors back left leg. Thin but not emancipated. Very gentle, great personality! No sign of fleas or skin issues. Well trained. Does well on leash.
Resisted coming into the house, (very afraid), had to lift her over threshold. Defensive with my dogs (can't blame her) so I'm keeping them separated.

I have not been able to get her checked for a chip yet am hoping to later this afternoon.

Please call 832-443-5888 if you have any information. Thank you.
